Erin Noelle - MILF-Wrong Kind of Love - Book Review (Review Copy)

Publisher: Erin Noelle, 2015.
Genre: Erotica.
Length: 310 pages.

Grayson Daniels is reluctantly back in Georgia after spending ten months studying in Spain. His mother is marrying Grayson’s best friend’s father after two years of them carrying on an affair behind his wife’s back. Yep, his first and only father figure is a chump. He’s less than pleased with his mother, betraying her friend like that, too. At least it will be official when he calls his best friend, Adam, Bro’.

Mia Sullivan is understandably full of flaming anger at wasting twenty years of her life on a lying, cheating piece of scum. She’d never take back getting pregnant in high school, though. Adam is the best thing that ever happened to her. He has encouraged her to take out her anger in the gym and pursue her passion for painting. She is thriving for the first time in years.

When Grayson’s mother kicks him out of home, Mia and Adam gain another housemate. Grayson isn’t the boy she used to know. He has grown up and filled out. Resisting his charm is impossible. He has decided he wants her and she can’t stop from wanting him. She knows it’s not forever, but if they can keep it under wraps she’s going to enjoy it while it lasts. As long as Adam doesn’t find out.

I love Erin Noelle’s writing style. She immerses the reader in her worlds getting us totally engrossed and empathizing with the characters. How could this possibly end well? There are so many intertwined relationships going on, it’s a tangled web these characters weave.

Even though Mia watched Grayson grow up, he has changed. Living abroad has matured him and a man’s body is vastly different from a teenager’s. Mia, herself has become a gym junkie, lost close to twenty pounds and gained back her passion and vibrancy. She is a gorgeous woman. Grayson is mesmerized by her, her banana pancakes, her painting, everything about her. She struggles with the morality of the situation, Grayson is more black and white. They are both consenting adults and ‘good to go’ as far as he’s concerned.

My heat rating on this story is definitely close to nuclear. This pair are insatiable. The lust isn’t overdone or out of place, though. They are carrying on a whirlwind affair after all, but not at the expense of a developing tender, more intimate connection. It’s totally feasible that these two are drawn to each other, the attraction is well crafted with plenty of humour added in.

But then there’s always Adam. I honestly didn’t know how the author was going to make this work out. The story begins with a sneak peek of the end. The inevitable is a constant tickle of anticipation as you read along trying to figure out how it’s all going to fall into place. As lust turns to love I got more and more anxious about what was going to happen. So much happens!

I loved going along for the ride on this one. So clever. Reead iiiiittttt!
