Warbling Me—signings and other shenanigans

Hi Book Lovers,

It’s Sunday and only one month until Christmas. How are ya holdin’ up?

So much has happened since I last warbled.

I had my first signing at Books @ Stones where I was blessed to see many friendly faces despite the miserable day. I was so nervous about putting myself on display on the side of the road, a crash test dummy before the impact. Turns out I spent the whole time standing in front of my table, talking and having a laugh. The two hours zipped by.

Karen and Michael looked after me and made me feel at home. They’ve set up a fantastic little haven for book lovers with a special room in the back for kids’ activities. If you’re in Brissie head down to Logan Rd, Stones Corner and say hello. They have copies of my books in stock, as well as many other fabulous Aussie authors and more.

Riveting Reads Australia was a brilliant experience. Readers and authors alike, all crammed into one big room for their collective love of books—it’s something special. The organisers did a fantastic job of making it an event to remember. I hope I’ll be back in 2019.

I have to say a massive thank you to my signing buddy, Emma. I asked her to help me out a year before the event (yeah, I was a little excited) I don’t think she knew what she was getting herself into. Heck, I didn’t know either. It’s a different game, being on the other side of the table.

Emma—you are an exceptional human being. I’m so truly blessed to have you in my circle of friends. I kinda wanna be you, cos then I’d be able to string two words together and people would instantly love me. Alas, I am stuck with my introvert spots.

Deb, Lorna, Kate, Pauline, Juliette, Lauren, Teresa, Lynette, and everyone who visited my table (the lady from Perth who already had 4 suitcases full, but convinced her accommodating husband to let her buy more—I hope you made it home okay) thank you for making R.R.A. so memorable.

I’ve opened a Book and Main Bites profile. If you haven’t heard of this app head to the website. You can follow me here: @JMAdele. I’ll be posting bites (excerpts) of my published books and unpublished WIP’s. There is already a heap of juicy bites to try from all your favourite authors. Check it out.

Lastly, Romancing The Coast, 2018 has released their TICKETS for sale!

I’ll be attending this inaugural event next year and I can’t wait. The after party is at Dream World! Why haven’t you bought your tickets already?

I’ll catch you guys soon.

Cheers
Jen

Shattered Home is LIVE!

Hi book lovers,

Shattered Home—the prequel to Remembering Home—is available now for FREE!

Here are the links ...

Read the beginning of Angel and Aiden’s story.

She streaked by, a glow surrounding her and her black hair flowing behind. I had to rub my eyes.
My heart just about beat right out of my chest because I knew I’d found an Angel.
I hoped she’d been sent to save me.

Aiden Thomas couldn’t believe his eyes when he spotted a real, live angel in the school yard. There was no way he could’ve comprehended how important she’d become in his miserable existence.
Until their world was cruelly torn apart.

* Intended for mature audiences due to adult scenes and language. *

Written especially to help raise funds for the March of Dimes Foundation, originally published in the New Love anthology.

Cheers!
